Housing management policy guidance
Guidance to help you set effective policies and procedures for housing management
Managing a strong and professional tenant-landlord relationship is key to the success of CLTs with housing projects. Recent Government proposals could require managers of social housing to meet professional housing management qualifications, which could have a large impact on CLT groups who are or plan to become Registered Providers (RPs) of Social Housing.
Viewers will hear from Kirsty Cooper of the Chartered Institute of Housing and Catherine Simpson of Anthony Collins Solicitors on the consequences of these proposed changes for CLTs and what that training looks like. Community Land Trust Network CEO Tom Chance also offers reflections and guide discussion.
This follows the June 2022 webinar on different methods of tenant management.
Speakers:
– Kirsty Cooper, Head of Housing Academy, Chartered Institute of Housing
– Catherine Simpson, Senior Associate with our corporate partner Anthony Collins Solicitors
– Tom Chance, CEO of the Community Land Trust Network
