Webinar: CLTs creating neighbourly spaces

Publication date: 29 June 2022

Organisation: Community Land Trust Network

CLTs are all about communities taking control of shaping the future of their areas. CLTs can transform the relationships between people and their places as well as people and their neighbours.

This CLT Network webinar is about the practical steps CLTs can take to create neighbourly places, reduce loneliness and increase interaction between neighbours. Kath Scanlon, Distinguished Policy Fellow at the London School of Economics and Political Science, discusses her academic research commissioned by Government on community led housing and loneliness. Nicholas Boys Smith, the Director of Create Streets and CLT Network trustee, along with Robert Kwolek of the Create Streets team, discuss how the design of CLT, cohousing and other community led schemes can foster neighbourly connections.
