CCH has produced a very comprehensive toolkit covering most aspects of the governance and management of a CLH organisation. The toolkit is based on the experience of housing co-operatives but has been recently broadened to be relevant to other forms of community- led housing. It covers three main areas:
- Values & Principles: what is the organisation about? How does it interact with its membership?
- Governance & Viability: is the organisation operating in accordance with an appropriate Code of Governance? Is the organisation financially viable?
- Management: is the organisation managing effectively and delivering excellent results?
