Biography: Angela has a specific background in cohousing and is a board member of UK Cohousing Network and a trustee of UK Cohousing Trust. She started, and has grown, an intergenerational cohousing group in Kent in the South-East and has a number of projects of different types in early stages across the county.
Angela has been active in the community, particularly for the last 12 years, having been part of an active Resident’s Association which has challenged local planning, has completed Neighbourhood Planning training and was on the core team of a Free School proposal. Her passion is to see communities build their homes and take control of local resources.
She has been Chair of a number of organisations and is currently a director of a Resident Management Company. The Accreditation training has been useful to bring together her experience to utilise the support currently available to help groups of people make homes they want, and help them to revolutionise the way we do housing in the UK.
Angela’s has a background in marketing and communications, having worked on numerous projects in different sectors, including contract publishing magazines, researching and publishing reports, and she has written a non-fiction book.
