Biography: I am a project manager with experience in health & social care and community-led housing, based in Brighton. I have worked on a number of CLH schemes from inception to practical completion in Brighton. I have experience in various aspects of community led housing: group formation, aspects of organisational development (including housing cooperatives), project planning, enabling teams to mobilise to deliver new schemes, partnership working, facilitating project delivery in different organisational cultures, business planning & evaluation. My interest in CLH started in 1990 when I was involved in community groups building their own Segal-style homes and community centres, in London and around the UK. I have large project experience from my work in the NHS commissioning new buildings and services. I am part of an intergenerational housing cooperative in Brighton. I am also interested in supporting groups to think through living in CLH and I recently completed a PhD about what makes it possible to live in intentional communities into later life PhD thesis.
