Biography: I am an accredited community led housing advisor living and working in Mid- and North- Wales. I have lived in housing coops for approximately ten years. For two years I lived at the Centre for Alternative Technology as part of the on-site cohousing community. I worked at CAT for twenty years in the publishing department and as an author, helping to create innovative environmental books. After leaving CAT I worked for an Open Eco Homes project in Cambridge before taking my current job as Community Led Housing Officer for the Wales Co-operative Centre. For one year I was Co-housing Officer in Powys but my work now covers the whole range of community led housing across the whole of Mid- and North- Wales as part of our Communities Creating Homes programme.
I work exclusively within Wales and mostly cover Mid- and North- Wales which includes the counties of Powys, Ceredigion, Gwynedd, Conwy, Wrexham, Flintshire, Denbighshire, Conwy, Anglesey. I can advise people living in England but only about community led housing in Wales. We prioritise affordable housing
