Biography: Debbie Lamb has worked for Locality for 19 years. Debbie began her career in the community sector managing a women’s refuge. Before joining Locality, she worked as an adviser on supported housing, coordinated a network exploring innovative housing-based solutions for homeless heavy drinkers and provided consultancy on tenant involvement. Debbie is an accredited Community Led Housing adviser.
An example of Debbie’s work on Community Led Housing is supporting RCVDA Community Housing CIC to become a Registered Provider. This included supporting business and financial planning, policy development, board development and risk management.
Debbie has assessed grants for the Community Led Homes and Homes in Community Hands programme. She supports Locality members around community led housing development, including becoming a Registered Provider.
Debbie is a SFEDI accredited business adviser and has a strong track record in supporting community enterprises including community business turnaround.
